We are continuously monitoring the situation in Egypt and are in constant contact with our local teams in the region.  The latest update from our ground team in Cairo this morning confirms that, despite some unrest during the weekend, the situation in Cairo is calmer and all arrival/departure transfers, sightseeing in Cairo, domestic flights, trains and cruises are operating as normal.  The tensions in Egypt have always been a local issue and tourists have not been involved in the unrest, however your safety is paramount to us, and if we felt at any point that the situation posed any threat to our passengers well-being then the tour would not continue/alternative arrangements would be made, and we would be in contact with all those affected to confirm and organise alternative options.   Currently however we are very happy to confirm that all our departures are operating as scheduled and there is no disruption to any of our tours in Egypt.
